Happy‌ ‌‌National‌ ‌Nurses‌ ‌Week‌‌ ‌From‌ ‌The‌ ‌Execu|Search‌ ‌Group‌!

To mark the beginning of National Nurses Week, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to all of the nursing professionals we work with. After the COVID-19 pandemic took over every facet of life in 2020, the need for nurses grew beyond anything we’ve seen before. To honor their courage and selflessness over the past year, the Executive Board of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the American Nurses Association have dedicated this year’s theme for National Nurses Week to the Frontline Warrior.

“As we begin to recover from the worst of the pandemic, it’s important to recognize that we wouldn’t be where we are now without the contributions and sacrifices that countless nurses have made on the frontlines,” says Amanda Cruse, Senior Managing Director of ES Healthcare, a division of The Execu|Search Group. “Nurses have worked tirelessly and selflessly to care for patients and help their patients’ families stay updated with extreme care and compassion.  Because of them, we are coming out of the pandemic stronger than ever before. We can’t thank all of our frontline warriors enough!”

National Nurses Week was originally established in 1954 to honor Florence Nightingale. Today it is a national event that celebrates the contributions that nurses and nursing make to the community. Learn more: http://www.nursingworld.org/NationalNursesWeek-History
